Medicare Part A and Part B – Limited Coverage

Once you are eligible for Medicare, a simple way to cover your health needs is Medicare Part A and Part B.  Medicare part A covers some hospital charges while Medicare Part B covers some doctor charges.

It is likely free for you if you or your spouse has been paying taxes for 10 years or more.  Medicare Part B has a premium that is dependent on looking back 2 years at your income.  This premium changes ” usually” annually.

Although the increases I have seen year over year have been minimal.
