If so, I’m guessing you may feel a little confused.

FYI, if you don’t feel like you want to read this new article or have some additional questions you want to be answered now, please give me a call at 877-549-1212.  I have some limited time this week to help you. Or you can watch this short video below explaining these 3 tips on how to avoid choosing the wrong Medicare plan.

Even without all the updates to the Medicare laws, wrapping your mind around this process can be completely overwhelming. And unfortunately, the added stress of choosing the wrong plan can make just about anyone want to rip their hair out.

I’ve been working in this industry for nearly 3 decades, and far too often I see an innocent mistake made by someone trying to “go it alone” in the Medicare jungle cost them not only thousands of dollars but also being deprived of the care they (or their loved ones) desperately need.

Can you imagine what it would feel like if your husband or wife couldn’t get a life-saving procedure or medication simply because you selected the wrong Medicare plan? Sadly, I hear horror stories like this several times per week. I don’t want this to happen to you.

Many of my friends and clients have told me that the information I’m about to share with you literally saved their lives. So, go somewhere quiet and grab a cup of your favorite beverage…

I want to give you only the essential things you need to know about the crazy world of Medicare. Many of my clients tell me that the stack of paperwork they receive when they inquire about signing up for a plan is literally over 12 inches high! So. Here’s what I want to do…

I’m going to give you just 3 tips. If you follow them, you’ll avoid the major potholes.

Sound good? Fantastic. Let’s dive in…

Tip #1. Always work with an independent insurance agent.

An independent insurance agent will represent more than one Medicare company and should certainly offer all of the major insurance carriers like Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medical Mutual, AETNA, Humana and Mutual of Omaha.

Tip #2. Experience matters.

An insurance agent should have at least 10 or more years of experience to best be able to help you. The more experience, the better. The laws are constantly changing and an experienced agent should be on top of the issues.

Tip #3. Your agent should be professional and unbiased.

They know the needs of the applicants better than anyone. They will also likely be here to help you along the way with service issues as well.

The Medicare trend happening in America is very very scary, once you know all the details of what’s really going on. The growing complexity of it all is resulting in many doctors flat out refusing to help specific types of Medicare patients. All this struggle and pain, simply because they chose the wrong plan.

I beg you to do everything in your power to not let this happen to you!

When you choose the right Medicare plan for you, in many ways, you can “have it all.” You’ll experience peace of mind in knowing exactly what your out of pocket expenses may be, you’ll know if your doctor or hospital is in the network, you’ll also know what is the best Medicare Part D drug plan that will also work better for you.

But, choosing the wrong plan is not an easy pill to swallow. There’s a very good chance that you might be stuck with that plan… for the rest of your life.

I encourage you to seek out someone that you trust and is experienced at navigating the complex Medicare maze. As we talked about before, you must make sure they’re experienced and an independent agent who represents the major Medicare companies like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medical Mutual, Humana, United Healthcare/AARP, Mutual of Omaha and AETNA.

I’ve devoted the last 29 years of my professional life to specifically helping folks get the perfect Medicare plan for them.

I want to be a help my fellow seniors when they have to navigate the seemingly endless Medicare complexities. There is nothing more disheartening to me than hearing how people are not getting the treatment, procedures, or medications they desperately need, simply because they checked a single wrong box when they applied for Medicare.

If you’re feeling confused, I want to answer any questions you have. And, if we decide there’s a way that I can specifically help you fantastic! I have a limited amount of time I am free to help, so just give me a call now to set up some time we can review your specific situation.

Please feel free to give me a call now at 877-549-1212.   I set aside time each week to help seniors understand the confusing world of Medicare.
